About Us
Since its inception, Multi Civil & Rail Services has grown from a small business with three or four staff primarily focused on equipment hire, to employing over 40 Infrastructure Workers from Level I through to Level IV Transport & Distribution (Rail Infrastructure), allowing the company to diversify into other areas of the Civil Rail Industry .
Multi Civil & Rail Services continues to grow to this day and one of the reasons for this is a focus on employee training that allows workers to be skilled in many areas of Rail Infrastructure.

Tory has over 25 years' Rail Industry experience up to and including Track Reconditioning, Re-Sleepering, Re-railing and Drainage including Installation and Maintenance, Corridor Presentation, Graffiti Removal and Turnout Construction, Installation and Maintenance. Tory is also qualified in Track Examination, Visually Inspect and Monitoring, Record and Analyse Track Parameters, Rail Adjusting, Thermit Welding, Protection Officer Class 4, Electrical Permit Holder, Hand Signaller Class 2, Certificate Level III Transport and Distribution Rail Infrastructure, etc.
- Rick Jorgenson , Safe Working Manager.
Rick has over 25 years Rail Industry experience. Rick has spent the last 15 years of his career involved in Training and Assessment of Civil Infrastructure Competencies including PW52/53, Safe-Working, Rail Adjusting, and all other facets of Civil Infrastructure Works. Rick is qualified in Track Examination, Visual Inspection and Monitoring, Record and Analyse Track Parameters, Rail Adjusting, Protection Officer Class 4, Electrical Permit Holder, Hand Signaller Class 2, etc.
- John White , Operations Manager.
John has over 25 years' Rail Industry experience in all facets of infrastructure works, including Training/Assessing, Track Reconditioning, Turnout Construction and Installation, Re-railing, Re-Sleepering, etc. John spent the last 11 years of his rail career as a Team/Production Manager with Track Renewals. John is also qualified in Track Examination, Visual Inspection and Monitoring, Record and Analyse Track Parameters, Rail Adjusting, Protection Officer Class 4, Hand Signaller Class 2, Electrical Permit Holder, Team Manager Track, Certificate Level IV Transport and Distribution Rail Infrastructure, etc.
- Wayne Howie, Manager Multi Civil & Rail Services North
Wayne has over 27 years' Rail Industry experience in all facets of infrastructure works, including Track Reconditioning, Turnout Construction and Installation, Re-railing, Re-Sleepering. Wayne is qualified in Track Examination, Visual Inspection and Monitoring, Record and Analyse Track Parameters, Rail Adjusting, Protection Officer Class 4, Hand Signaller Class 2, Electrical Permit Holder, Team Manager Track, Certificate Level III Transport and Distribution Rail Infrastructure, etc.
- Graham Doherty, Welding Services Manager
Graham has over 24 years' Rail Industry experience in all facets of infrastructure works, including Track Reconditioning, Turnout Construction and Installation, Re-railing, Re-Sleepering, etc. Graham spent the last 5 years of his rail career as the Welding Inspector South West. Graham is qualified in Track Examination, Visual Inspection and Monitoring, Record and Analyse Track Parameters, Rail Adjusting, Thermit Welding, Wire feed Welding, Protection Officer Class 3, Electrical Permit Holder, Hand Signaller Class 2, Certificate Level III Transport and Distribution Rail Infrastructure, etc.
